POINT PRINTER
When designing the Novitus POINT, we wanted to create a device that would be more than just another fiscal printer. I aimed to combine aesthetics, simplicity, and responsibility—so that the technology would be not only efficient but also user- and environmentally friendly. From the first sketches to the final form, my priority was for the POINT to fit naturally into the workspace, not overwhelming it, while clearly communicating its modernity.
Ecology was an integral part of the design from the outset. A sleep mode that reduces energy consumption, the ability to use e-receipts, and the use of recyclable ABS plastic are all features that significantly reduce the environmental impact of the device's production. Furthermore, the POINT can support multiple sales stations simultaneously, meaning less equipment in the company and more responsible resource management.
Novitus POINT is the result of an approach that prioritizes design—because good design supports not only efficient work but also smarter, more sustainable technological choices.

Design details
Novitus POINT is a flexible device, both functionally and visually. The printer has been designed to operate in any position—either on the customer's or salesperson's side—without compromising readability or ease of use. This allows it to be better adapted to various retail spaces and workflows.
POINT also features a well-thought-out color scheme. The basic version is dominated by deep black with a distinctive orange detail that emphasizes its modern, technical character. For spaces where visual lightness is important, a second version was created—with a majority of the housing in white, which blends perfectly with brighter interiors.
Ease of installation and servicing is also a key design element. The device's design allows for quick access to key components, simplifying repairs and extending the product's lifespan. This is another aspect of our responsible approach—instead of replacing the entire device, the POINT can be quickly repaired, reducing e-waste. Combined with an energy-saving sleep mode, e-receipts, and recyclable ABS, the Novitus POINT demonstrates that good design truly supports sustainable development.
